Terrance Landers Jr. is arguably the best recruit of the Boilermakers’ 2016 recruiting class. Standing at 6’5, 180 pounds, the three-sport athlete is looking to bring wins back to West Lafayette.
Terrance had an outstanding junior year in high school totaling over 900 yards receiving.
His senior season was just as productive. While he can go up and get the ball with the height that he has, that isn’t his favorite part of playing football.
Landers prides himself on run blocking. This will be vital this upcoming season as Purdue returns All-Big Ten Freshman, Markell Jones. If Terrance can add some muscle to his frame, he could be a dangerous weapon for David Blough & Co. as Purdue looks to bounce back on offense under new coordinator, Terry Malone.
Terrance originally committed to Bowling Green, but after the coach left for greener pastures, he reopened his recruiting and Purdue was right there. He had offers from Bowling Green, Ball State, Iowa, Kent State, Miami (OH) and Ohio.
He may be the most vital commitment to this class as he provides size at 6’5″, speed (4.5 40) and excellent blocking skills.
Take a listen talk up his future team, Purdue fans, you will grow to love this kid.
