Penn State would rally to pull within four points at 24-20, but that was as close as it got the rest of the way.  The Boilermakers used a 13-0 run to extend their lead to 37-20 capped by a Carsen Edwards and-one. Purdue took a 41-23 lead into halftime.

It was much of the same for the Boilermakers in the second half.  They used an early 8-2 run to expand their lead to 51-25.  Penn State never got within 20 points after that.  Purdue finished with a 77-52 victory capped by two late baskets and a block from Grady Eifert.

Along with Swanigan, the Boiler received solid contributions from Vincent Edwards, Dakota Mathias, and Carsen Edwards.  Carsen finished with 13 points while Vincent and Dakota added 10 a piece.
